- Prepare menus in collaboration with colleagues
- Ensuring adequacy of supplies at cooking stations
- Training, developing and supporting junior chefs.
- Preparing ingredients that should be frequently available (vegetables, spices etc)
- Following the guidance of the head or sous chefs and have input in new ways of presentation of dishes.
- Putting effort in optimising the cooking process with attention to speed and quality
- Enforcing strict health and hygiene standards
- Minimum 2 years experience as a Chef de Partie, in a similar standard establishment
- Relevant culinary / hospitality qualifications
- Have excellent use of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and processes.
- Agility to meet the demands of daily guest requests and menu changes
- Excellent time management
- Multitasking skills and reorganisation of priorities
- Thorough understanding of Kitchen Health & Safety requirements
