We’re looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Assistant Bar Manager to help lead our team and take our bar operations to the next level.

Job Summary:

The Assistant Bar Manager supports the Bar Manager in all aspects of bar operations, including staff supervision, inventory management, customer service, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who thrives in a busy environment and has a passion for hospitality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the daily management of the bar, ensuring smooth operations during all shifts.

• Lead and support bar staff to maintain high levels of customer service and professionalism.

• Train new team members and support ongoing staff development.

• Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering, stock control, and cost management.

• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety of the bar in accordance with licensing and health standards.

• Handle customer complaints and resolve issues quickly and effectively.

• Support with staff scheduling, performance reviews, and other administrative tasks.

• Ensure the bar meets financial targets and contributes to overall business goals.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a supervisory or team lead role in a bar or hospitality environment.

• Strong knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to stay calm under pressure and manage busy service periods.

• High level of organization, reliability, and attention to detail
