Overview

The Director of Food and Beverage for Rosewood Red Sea, located along Saudi Arabia’s pristine west coast, is responsible for overseeing all culinary and beverage operations, including restaurants, bars, banquets, and in-room dining. This role ensures the delivery of exceptional dining experiences that align with Rosewood’s ultra-luxury standards and Red Sea Global’s vision for regenerative tourism. The Director will lead a team to create innovative, sustainable, and culturally inspired food and beverage offerings while maintaining operational excellence, guest satisfaction, and compliance with brand and local standards in a dynamic, environmentally conscious destination.



Responsibilities



  • Oversee all food and beverage operations, ensuring high-quality, innovative, and culturally relevant dining experiences that reflect Rosewood’s luxury standards.
  • Lead and mentor the culinary, service, and beverage teams, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and exceptional guest service.
  • Develop and implement menus that incorporate local ingredients, sustainable practices, and global culinary trends, aligning with guest preferences and Red Sea Global’s environmental goals.
  • Manage the Food and Beverage budget, optimizing costs while maintaining quality, profitability, and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure seamless execution of dining services, including restaurants, bars, banquets, and in-room dining, to enhance guest satisfaction and operational flow.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and local producers to source sustainable, high-quality ingredients, supporting Red Sea Global’s commitment to zero waste and minimal ecological impact.
  • Monitor and maintain compliance with food safety, hygiene, and local regulatory standards, as well as Rosewood’s brand policies.
  • Design and implement training programs to enhance staff skills in culinary arts, beverage knowledge, and luxury service, aligning with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 for workforce development.
  • Analyze guest feedback through reviews, surveys, and direct interactions, implementing improvements to elevate dining experiences and address concerns promptly.
  • Work closely with other departments, such as Marketing and Events, to create unique dining events, promotions, and experiences that enhance the property’s reputation.


Qualifications



  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced culinary or hospitality certifications are a plus.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in food and beverage management, with at least 4 years in a leadership role within a luxury hotel or resort.
  • Proven ability to lead diverse teams, with strong interpersonal and communication skills to inspire staff and collaborate with stakeholders.
  • Deep knowledge of culinary trends, beverage programs, and luxury dining, with a passion for creating memorable guest experiences.
  • Experience implementing sustainable food and beverage practices, preferably in eco-conscious or luxury destinations.

Located along Saudi Arabia's west coast on the Shura Island, the new Rosewood hotel and residences will be part of The Red Sea destination. Poised to be one of Saudi Arabia's top cultural and lifestyle hubs, the development is comprised of a stunning marina offering a yacht club, commercial retail and dining options, as well as an 18-hole championship golf course. The development will boast 149 guest rooms and suites, alongside elevated dining offerings including three restaurants, two lounges, a signature Manor Club and a central hub featuring authentic eateries. Additional recreational spaces will include event pavilions and Asaya, Rosewood's integrative well-being concept consisting of seven treatment rooms, a gym, two movement studios and a yoga pavilion.
