Maximize revenue for rooms and hotel revenue centers through the development and maintenance of strategy, in cooperation with Sales & Marketing and optimal use of business systems.
Direct day-to-day yield strategy, assuring our high standards are maintained and that policies and procedures are followed.
CORE RESPONSABILITIES
· Maximize room revenue, occupancy, ADR, and RevPAR with detailed inventory management, pricing, and distribution strategy.
· Responsible for best practice standards to include an effective yield strategy, competitor analysis, and environmental scanning.
· Create and implement a pricing strategy optimized based on the business context, market trends, and objectives - rationally structured for channels, segments & Groups with cohesive synergies. Continuously communicate.
· Implement and monitor compliance with standard operating & reporting procedures across channels with standardized coding to provide real-time business analysis.
· Full utilization of available technology (PMS, distribution channels, Revenue Management System, BI) according to property-specific business mix and requirements. Maintenance of superior systems health daily.
· Ensure hotel management fully understands strategies and fosters a revenue management culture across the organization.
· Ongoingly measure performance across metrics and adjust strategy accordingly.
· Accountable for the forecasting and budgeting of revenues. Support accurate forecasting for room revenues and across revenue centers in support of strategic objectives, financial planning, and operational decisions.
KEY DUTIES
· Monitor pick-up and cancellation trends by segment/channel/period as well as competitor pricing. Actively adjust tactics per market trends.
· Manage room control for optimized inventory management (comp/house, out of order, out of service, restrictions) including peak demand days. Communicate sell out strategy.
· Vet sales team’s group pricing guidelines. Maintain system group pricing configuration for optimal evaluations in view of not displacing higher profit business. Actively participate in the group pipeline GRC meeting. Give pace feedback and validate alignment with long-term group objectives.
· Analyze competitive set performance with benchmarking and rate shopping technology; Review competitor websites, including promotional activities. Perform in-depth analysis of future demand. Communicate findings in revenue meetings.
· Manage rate codes in coordination with centralized rate loading and administer corporate rate programs for employees and brand partnerships. Manage packages and offers.
· Submit a monthly forecast 4 months out for hotel rooms revenue and residence revenue by market segment. Focus on accuracy. Distribute a weekly operations forecast for operations to make informed planning decisions.
· Lead a structured revenue strategy weekly meeting to identify growth opportunities, reveal obstacles and promote team collaboration to achieve overall financial goals. Drive business by discussing strategies collaboratively from gathered intelligence. Discuss demand periods, need dates and pace.
· Full responsibility of third-party accounts management.
· Reporting: financial month end, divisional, ownership, as required.
· Produce room revenue budgets and assist in the preparation of the yearly marketing plan.

· University College Degree including advanced English (spoken and written). Local language requirement. Licenses & Certifications: CHIA, CRME strongly preferred.
· Experience: minimum two years’ experience as a Revenue, Sales or Reservation manager for a luxury or luxury property. Experience with the local market is highly valued.
· General skills: must be able to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy; prioritize, organize, and follow-up; be a clear thinker, remaining calm and resolving problems using good judgment; follow directions thoroughly; understand guest service needs; work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team; work with minimal supervision; maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel data.
· Technical skills: demonstrate an affinity for hospitality business systems and automated processes, working knowledge of economic and commercial influences on customer behavior, business calculus, and financial management. Highly skilled in all forms of professional communication and data visualization, consensus building, persuasion, and negotiation.

Rosewood Hotels & Resorts® has been appointed by RLH Properties, a company created by BK Partners, to manage Rosewood Mandarina which will open in 2024 as Rosewood’s fourth property in Mexico. Located on the west coast of Mexico just 30 minutes’ drive from the Puerto Vallarta International Airport, the resort will be situated in the breathtaking region of Riviera Nayarit. With a focus on the element of “water,” the setting will provide visitors with exclusive access to three diverse environments: the beach, the lowlands and the highlands, each offering unique activities. From fishing in the winding lagoons or off the coast of the ocean, to learning about the agricultural foundation of the region, or taking one of many scenic hikes up the mountainside, the diverse landscape will provide a perfect backdrop for travelers to connect with nature.
