The Ordertaker is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the Housekeeping Office by providing accurate and timely information to hotel guests and offering clerical and administrative support to Housekeeping Supervisors and other departments during housekeeping services. He/she must possess strong multitasking abilities, including managing multiple phone calls, assigning room allocations, and handling lost and found items, all while maintaining composure under pressure.

The ideal candidate should have at least two years of college in a related course and possess 2–3 years of experience as a room attendant. He/she should also be able to handle guest complaints and inquiries, document the nature of complaints, and coordinate with relevant supervisors or managers for immediate corrective action.

The Ordertaker will also liaise with Reception regarding room status, adhere strictly to hotel, laundry, and housekeeping policies, and perform other duties as assigned by the Housekeeping Manager. He/she should maintain a professional appearance and grooming standards, and promote positive behavior and teamwork in accordance with the Employee Handbook. The role also involves keeping a daily record of minibar consumption and being knowledgeable about hotel emergency, safety, and pest control procedures.
