About the Role
The Digital & Social Media Manager oversees all digital marketing and social media management for The Chancery Rosewood. They must be comfortable creating cutting edge content that is in line with the brand which sparks interest and conversation. All activities will be strategically planned, actioned and reported to a high standard, with the aim of impacting and supporting The Chancery Rosewood’s core objectives and be effectively delivered within an agreed timeframe.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate responses to social engagement in the hotel and ensure regular contact with target media, influencers, KOLs and appropriate responses to requests.
- Evaluate brand partners for social media strategy. Conceptualise and implement and coordinate calendar of content to ensure hotel remains a relevant to social media trends across all relevant platforms.
- Act as the hotel’s representative with the KOLs and influencers.
- Keep informed of developments in the fields of marketing, communications and public relations, and the specific business of the hotel and use this information to help the hotel operate with initiative and innovation.
- Help make sure that the hotel’s philosophy, mission and vision are pertinent and practiced throughout the hotel.
- To be responsible for managing and delivering the day-to-day marketing activity for the hotel in line with the agreed marketing strategy, to support the delivery of hotel revenue targets in terms of brand image and language.
- Manage day-to-day relationship with digital agency for performance marketing driving the best ROI for PPC, Display, Social and SEO working closely with DOC on digital strategy.
- Oversee and implement CRM strategy including e-Newsletters direct to consumers, sales, travel agents and communications including database management.
- Work closely with revenue department to develop competitive offers and promotions and activate them across marketing channels.
- To be responsible for the management and growth of the hotel data and the targeted use of the database.
- To manage online reputation of the hotel across third party listings and OTAs, maintaining our presence and seeking new marketing opportunities and cross exposure.
- To manage current eCommerce offering including gifts and vouchers as well as develop new eCommerce opportunities.
- To be responsible for tracking campaign success to enable us to understand the return on the investment of each activity and aid future promotion plans through effective reporting.
- Responsible for managing individual projects, connecting with key stakeholders in the business to activate 360 campaigns.
- Seek new digital marketing opportunities to help grow performance.
About you
- Preferable exposure and experience of being part of a pre-opening/launch team.
- Demonstrate Rosewood’s core values and truly be able to share and express your passion for your craft and the hospitality industry.
- Demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion through continuous development, modelling inclusive behaviours.
- Excellent communication and copywriting skills, with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Possess a curative lens on what is innovative, ability to spot trends and be a forward-looking and conceptual thinker.
- The candidate must have strong English language skills and experience running marketing functions as well as social media accounts across multiple platforms.
- Understanding of key functions relating to marketing strategies and initiatives whilst managing multiple work streams and stakeholders
- Developing and implementing effective and realistic marketing plans and strategies, including budget evaluation, management and reporting
- Established network of media/journalists/KOLs.

Balancing the rich history of the iconic building with contemporary comforts prioritised by today’s luxury traveller, the hotel will showcase architecture restoration by British architect Sir David Chipperfield of David Chipperfield Architects and interiors by French architect Joseph Dirand.
