Job Summary
Responsible for oversight of the Room Division that includes Front Office, Housekeeping & Laundry, Wellness
that includes Spa, Spa retail, Lobby retail, Hotel pools and fitness center.

Oversees all Standards programs including Rosewood Brand standards, LQA and Forbes, coordinating with
Learning manager to drive audit scores and training.
Oversees Guest satisfaction with the leadership team, to create action plans for low scores, following up on guest
responses and ensuring all feedback is resolved and steps taken to constantly enhance the guest experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Setting Departmental objectives, work schedules, budgets, policies and procedures per Rosewood Hotels
and Resorts standards
• Maintaining Rosewood brand standards across the board and working with all other Executives to have
those followed throughout the property.
• Maintain a 3-5% forecast accuracy for all departments
• Lead sustainability and community outreach efforts
• Champion TrustYou and ensure that all reviews are responded to too.
• Manage various 3rd party agreements such as for the watersport operations and ensure that all payments,
commission, and terms are followed. Manage those relationships in the best interest of property. Schedule
and lead monthly/quarterly meetings.
• Coordinate with the membership team to have hotel guests part take in the wellness/fitness program.
• Work with DOE to ensure that a full round of perfect room program is accomplished by Mar 31 of each
year including public areas.
• Ensuring staff have up to date knowledge of hotel products, services, pricing, and policies. Constantly
adjust pricing to maximize all opportunities.
• Manage separate linen inventory for Beach Club and rest of operation to lower replacement costs for all
areas.
• Monitor website on accuracy and communicate all needed changers to MarCom
• Champion Resort activities to ensure a value for money concept for our guests.
• Maintaining good communication and working relationships with all hotel areas
• Responding to guest’s special requests, needs, problems, issues and concerns and training staff in the
response and resolution of guest matters
• Monitoring and controlling daily revenues and expenses; ensuring procedures are followed and proper
controls are in place to minimize losses and expenses and maximize hotel profits
• Overseeing all training in the divisions, ensuring training plans are created and regularly updated, training
is logged and training is effective
• Oversee all departmental schedules, ensuring that labour is effectively managed, based on staffing
guidelines and labor forecasts
• Leads Forbes, LQA initiatives and Associate Engagement Survey initiatives in the divisions
• Ensures that Rosewood Service standards are met by ensuring regular training is conducted per the
Rosewood Training schedule and liaising with the property Training Manager
• Ensures timely processing of department’s payroll and accurate attendance reporting
• Attends managers’ meetings and operations meetings as required
• Oversee any documentations for the divisions, ensuring processes are properly followed

Standard Responsibilities
• Comply and adhere to the Rosewood & Rosewood Bermuda company policies.
• Monitors that all Rosewood Hotels & Resorts’ and property standards are communicated, implemented and
executed.
• Develops and implements strategies to achieve guest service goals.
• Take on other tasks in addition of the ones stated, in a reasonable framework.
• Be a “brand ambassador” at all times and ensure brand integrity and clarity are always maintained.
• Model the company’s culture, vision, mission and core values at all times.

Position Requirements, Skills & Knowledge
• Must possess strong interpersonal skills with emphasis on professional communication and organization
• Must be computer literate and proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite and hotel property management
systems (preferably Opera)
• Experience in a unionized environment will be an asset
• A degree or diploma in Hotel Management or equivalent preferred
• Ability to uphold and enforce hotel’s standards, policies and procedures with self and Front Office
associates.
• Ability to prioritize and organize work assignments; Ability to direct performance of Front Office
associates and follow up with corrections where needed.
• Ability to motivate associates and maintain a cohesive team.
• Ability to analyze need and train associates.
• Must be able to work well under pressure
• Demonstrated ability to remain in stationary position for extended periods of time with limited movement.
• Demonstrated attention to detail
• Demonstrated ability to respond to callers needs in a positive manner assuring optimal satisfaction.
• Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality of all guests and hotel information at all times.
• Ability to work cohesively with other departments as part of a team
• Ability to perform basic mathematic computations.
