Your profile:

  • Previous experience in Finance, preferably within the hospitality industry.
  • Experience with SUN Systems, BirchStreet, Opera, Simphony, and Fairmas is considered a strong advantage.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, combined with the ability to quickly understand complex situations and processes.
  • Highly organized, reliable, and capable of effectively managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills with professional fluency in both German and English.
  • A motivated and ambitious team player with a proactive mindset and a passion for driving continuous improvement within the Finance department.
  • A holistic business perspective with the ability to understand the interdependencies between Finance and hotel operations.


Your tasks:

  • Support the Director of Finance in ensuring accurate, timely, and policy-compliant financial accounting.
  • Oversee and coordinate the Accounts Receivable function, including invoicing, posting of customer payments, and reconciliation of debtor accounts.
  • Take ownership of the hotel's Credit Management activities.
  • Monitor and reconcile credit card transactions, deposits, City Ledger accounts, and other relevant balance sheet accounts.
  • Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes, as well as budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting activities.
  • Prepare financial analyses, business insights, and management reports for the Director of Finance.
  • Provide functional support to the Finance team and contribute to an efficient, collaborative, and quality-driven working environment.
  • Support the ongoing development and optimization of financial, ERP, and PMS systems.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and actively contribute to the enhancement, standardization, and digitalization of accounting processes.

The collective agreement minimum gross salary for this position, based on full-time employment and in accordance with the Austrian Collective Agreement for Employees in the Hotel and Catering Industry, is EUR 2,263 gross per month. A higher salary is possible and will be determined based on qualifications, experience, and the overall profile of the successful candidate.
