We are looking for a passionate Junior Sous Chef to join our team at Rosewood Schloss Fuschl. You will play a pivotal role in supporting the culinary leadership team to deliver exceptional dining experiences that reflect the highest standards of luxury hospitality. This position requires strong technical skills, creativity, and a passion for excellence in food preparation and presentation.


Key expectations:

  • Assist the Culinary Leaders in managing daily kitchen operations across all outlets
  • Supervise and guide the teams to ensure consistency and quality
  • Maintain strict adherence to hygiene, safety, and HACCP standards
  • Contribute to menu development, seasonal offerings, and innovative culinary concepts
  • Monitor food costs, portion control, and waste management to optimise profitability
  • Ensure timely preparation and plating of dishes in line with hotel standards
  • Support in associate training and development to uphold a culture of excellence
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery


Profile:

  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a luxury hotel or fine dining environment
  • Formal culinary qualification from a recognised institution
  • Strong knowledge of international cuisines and modern cooking techniques
  • Excellent organisational and leadership skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
