OVERVIEW/BASIC FUNCTION
The Head Barista will oversee and manage all aspects of coffee and barista staff. He/she will be involved in the development and evolution of the café in collaboration with the team. 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

– Assume responsibility for all aspects of the coffee production.
– Be capable of completing and overseeing all daily operations of the coffee at the outlet.
– Management of baristas: customer service, preparation and presentation of beverages and information, operational procedures, merchandising.
Additional responsibilities include:
– Proactive training staff to maintain and uphold all company and café policies.
– Actively work toward creating a superlative café experience through: customer service, beverage preparation and presentation, in-store marketing, and upkeep of the physical space
– Ensure all projects and responsibilities are completed in a timely, efficient manner

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE

– Minimum 3 years of experience in specialty coffee and the coffee industry
– Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and interact courteously with guests and team members.
– Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques, beverage recipes, and quality standards.
