Position Summary:

Rosewood Bermuda at Tucker's Point in Hamilton Parish, Bermuda is hiring a Full-time Pro Shop Attendant!

Located on a stunning stretch of Bermuda’s coastline, Rosewood Bermuda offers a luxury resort experience with a strong tennis program that caters to both members and guests. The Tennis Center includes four Har-Tru clay courts, a full-service Pro Shop, and locker rooms, creating a welcoming and upscale environment for players of all levels.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a guest-focused setting and wants to be part of a respected, year-round tennis operation at one of Bermuda’s top resorts.

General Purpose:

Rosewood Bermuda’s Racquets Center is seeking a Full-time Attendant to support the daily operations of the tennis, pickleball, and padel programs. This guest-facing role is ideal for someone with excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality and racquet sports.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Open and/or close the Racquets Center in accordance with established procedures.

Greet guests and members warmly; address concerns or complaints promptly and notify a supervisor as needed.
Assist the Tennis Professionals in promoting and selling merchandise, programs, clinics, lesson packages, and rates.
Coordinate match play, maintain court schedules, and manage all court and lesson reservations.
Handle daily administrative tasks including answering phones, checking voicemails, and recording messages accurately.
Monitor Pro Shop supplies, bulletin boards, towels, beverages, and other amenities; notify a supervisor when restocking is needed.
Accurately complete and process guest vouchers for all Racquets Center purchases and charges.
Serve as an informed resource for guests, members, and staff regarding tennis, pickleball, padel, and current programming.
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional appearance of the Pro Shop and surrounding court areas.
Refill water coolers and empty trash receptacles on and around courts daily.
Sweep, roll, and water tennis courts as part of routine court maintenance or as conditions require.
Operate tennis court and racquet maintenance equipment safely and effectively.
Assist with post-match clean-up and general upkeep of playing areas.
Interact with guests and members in a professional, courteous, and service-oriented manner.
Communicate clearly and collaboratively with Racquets staff and other departments across the resort.
Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Cash handling experience preferred.
Retail experience and knowledge of tennis and/or racquet sports required.
Strong communication skills, both in person and on the phone.
Proficiency with computers, including POS systems, Microsoft Office, and reservation software.
Ability to work well in a team and deliver high-quality guest service.
Attention to detail, organizational skills, and professionalism.
Neat and well-groomed appearance required, in line with resort standards.

Physical Demands

Frequently stands and uses hands; reaches with hands and arms, talks or hears. Regularly walks, sits, climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crawls, or crouches. Regularly lifts up to 10 pounds and occasionally lifts up to 50 pounds.

Environment/Noise

Occasionally works in outdoor weather conditions. Noise level is moderate.
