Position Overview
Rosewood Red Sea, an ultra-luxury destination within Red Sea Global, is seeking a dynamic and service-oriented Team Leader – Food & Beverage to support daily restaurant operations and uphold Rosewood’s standards of refined hospitality. The ideal candidate will lead by example, ensuring seamless service delivery, team engagement, and an exceptional guest dining experience aligned with Rosewood’s A Sense of Place® philosophy.
Key Responsibilities

Supervise daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth service flow and adherence to Rosewood standards.

Lead, train, and motivate the service team to deliver gracious, anticipatory, and personalized guest experiences.

Maintain operational readiness—mise en place, table settings, cleanliness, and coordination with culinary and stewarding teams.

Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally, ensuring prompt resolution and guest satisfaction.

Assist in creating and executing service sequences, upselling strategies, and guest engagement techniques to drive revenue and loyalty.

Support in training new colleagues and monitoring performance through coaching and daily briefings.

Coordinate with the Restaurant Manager and Chef for menu knowledge, special promotions, and daily operational briefings.

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations (HACCP, food handling standards).

Maintain inventory and requisition control for linen, chinaware, glassware, and operating supplies.

Monitor and control operating costs through efficient scheduling, wastage reduction, and service efficiency.

Act as a key liaison between management and front-line colleagues, fostering communication and teamwork.

Uphold Rosewood’s grooming, etiquette, and service culture, representing the brand’s philosophy of thoughtful luxury.
Qualifications & Experience

Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in Food & Beverage operations within a luxury hotel or fine dining environment, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or team leader role.

Strong knowledge of service etiquette, sequence of service, and beverage pairings (wine/spirits knowledge preferred).

Proven ability to lead and develop multicultural teams with empathy, confidence, and attention to detail.

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Certification in Food Safety or HACCP preferred.

Fluent in English; knowledge of Arabic or an additional language is an advantage.
