THE IMPACT OF THIS ROLE
- Assist the Director of Reward in driving the Compensation Agenda across Rosewood Hotel Group, including Performance Management
- Support the business in making strategic decisions on Compensation & Benefits, Performance & HRIS related initiatives globally
- Partner with the Talent and Culture team in delivering the Global T&C agenda
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
I. Compensation and Benefits
- Supporting the Director of Reward in the development and delivery of a comprehensive Reward agenda
- Develop and recommend Total Reward practices to support organisational strategic goals, strengthen engagement, and Associate satisfaction levels
- Execute the Group's Reward Strategy to ensure the overall competitiveness and attractiveness of the Associate proposition
- Maintain effective Reward delivery through reviewing policies and procedures, identifying areas of development, and recommending solutions
- Recommend remuneration proposals and facilitate compensation and benefit decisions made by business and ensure internal equity and external competitiveness
- Manage the annual budget process and forecast, year-end compensation processes, annual benchmarking exercises, and partner closely with external HR service providers and vendors
II. Performance Management
- Deliver an effective Performance Management process across Rosewood Hotel Group. There will be opportunity to develop the current practice with a view to reshaping the associate experience
- Develop and manage performance review processes and tools (e.g., goal setting, performance evaluation and calibration, process, and results documentation, etc.)
- Create performance frameworks (e.g., balanced scorecards, key performance indicators, etc.) to align individual and team goals with organization objectives and business results
- Educate people managers to reinforce the importance of associate development, rewarding high performance, and addressing under performance
III. Other Standard Responsibilities
- Comply to the Company policies
- Be a “Brand Ambassador” and ensure brand integrity and clarity are always maintained
- Model the Company’s culture, vision, mission, and core values at all time

CRITICAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Required Skills –
- Result driven, strong influencing skills, good communication skills with all levels of the business
- Strong analytical skills, numeric sensitive and logical thinker
- High personal integrity, is bold and prepared to challenge behaviour inconsistent with the values
- A resilient personality and tenacious approach
- International mindset and experience in working with diverse team and high cultural sensitivity
- Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Good working knowledge of HRIS system such as SAP Success Factor
- Knowledge of Power BI would be an advantage
- Fluency in English and Cantonese, Mandarin preferable
Experience –
- Degree-educated with strong analytical & statistical background an advantage
- 5-7+ years Reward experience ideally with regional experience
- A broad experience and know-how on HR disciplines with emphasis in Compensation and Benefits area
