Job Description

THE IMPACT OF THIS ROLE

Senior Talent Development Manager leads and manages the learning function, identifies appropriate learning-based solutions and develops learning frameworks & interventions to facilitate achievement of business goals and contributes to the organization's talent development strategies.



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

•    Analyze, develop, direct, implement and continuously improve learning initiatives, curriculum & framework that supports the organization’s talent & culture strategies

•    Evaluate the organization’s overall learning requirements, business objectives, desired results, and constraints to identify specific learning needs

•     Explore relevant, innovative and/or modern learning initiatives to remain the forefront of learning, delivering best-in-class experiences to our associates  

•    Initiate blended learning methodologies and procedures to determine the most effective means by which to meet specific learning needs

•    Provide advice and guidance to hotel talent development team on learning strategy and initiatives in line with corporate directives 

•    Partner with business functions to identify, develop and implement learning solutions

•    Support the identification, implementation and management of learning interventions for development programmes

•    Partner with all other Talent & Culture functions to ensure learning programmes are aligned and integrated with associate experience to drive both development and engagement.

CRITICAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

•    Ability to develop a holistic view of performance problems, identify root causes, and suggest training-based solutions

•    Analytical, communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills

•    Collaboration skills including the ability to integrate and act upon the diverse perspectives of business unit managers, instructional designers and external vendors

•    Knowledge of learning and organizational development theories, instructional design models

•    Project management skills and ability to facilitate organizing and managing multiple priorities and/or projects

•    Risk mitigation skills to help eliminate potential roadblocks in the design and delivery of training programs

•    Strong business acumen and understanding of the impact of training on overall corporate performance



Qualifications –

•    Bachelor’s degree in human resources management, business, or related field



Experience –

•    8 years and above HR experience; experience in training, learning & development function preferred
