About the Role

You will be the first point of contact for all associates, providing comprehensive, confidential Human Resource support to all associates. Acting as a trusted advisor to support across the hotel with all relevant people needs. Advising and coaching on all people related processes, you will support leaders to be fair and consistent in their approach to ER instances and ensure all policies and processes are followed accurately. The Talent & Culture manager will need to be people focused, resourceful and well versed in supporting across a wide range of employee relations needs. This role will be a champion of culture and support the delivery of a wide array of engagement activities. They will resonate with Rosewoods relationship hospitality principle and be a true brand ambassador.


 Key Responsibilities

  • Enhance employee experience by working with individuals at all levels to implement and further develop D&I initiatives that promote diversity, inclusivity, engagement, and growth.
  • Provide advisory support to managers and supervisors in all areas, such as performance management, discipline, grievance, maternity, paternity, equal opportunities and employment law following Company policy and legal requirements
  • Develop, implement and improve induction processes that ensure all new staff are welcomed, receive appropriate and effective onboarding and are provided a safe and inclusive work environment
  • Support in the recruitment of all positions up to and including management roles.
  • Support in managing our early career activities and to deliver meaningful candidate experiences

  • Ensure all employment practices align with UK employment law and GDPR, always maintaining the highest level of confidentiality.
  • Champion Employee Relations: Guide and coach managers, handle sensitive issues with care, and maintain a positive and supportive workplace.
  • Ensure compliance with immigration rules by conducting monthly audits of passport and right to work documentation.
  • Ensure all relevant data audits are completed and communicated with the relevant stakeholders
  • Assist in the facilitation of management training courses along the Talent Development Manager
  • Assist with the administration of the training function and liaise with external training providers.
  • Assist in the training and development of colleagues as required, including HR related topics for management training.

About you

  • Grounded experience in a generalist HR role supporting a diverse workforce
  • Must have experience within hospitality or hotels.
  • A deep understanding of UK employment law and best practices.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Preferably you’ll have had expose of experience of being part of a pre-opening team
