JOB SUMMARY
The Vice President, Marketing and Brand Strategy provides strategic leadership and global management and execution for Rosewood Hotel Group’s Marketing. This role will have responsibility for developing and implementing brand strategies across all Brand marketing functions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead the Brand Marketing team and responsibilities:
- Develop and execute all brand marketing initiatives to meet business objectives, work in collaboration with commercial and CRM to refine tactics and implement strategies.
- Develop a 2 year + annual plan to strengthen brand equity, loyalty and increase brand awareness.
- Lead Brand Partnership strategies to drive engagement, acquisition, create and develop guest centric brand relevant opportunities across all brand touch points.
- Develop brand strategies to increase opportunities for brands within Rosewood Hotel Group, extract actionable insights from consumer research and business trends to increase performance.
- Track, analyze and report ROI results from marketing programs and brand initiatives and benchmark performance.
- Plan alongside CBO, annual budget and quarterly reviews.
- Build the business case to incorporate brand and commercial improvements to scale the business performance and develop.
- Improve process and implementation of brand programs, events and project management to support strategic projects.
- Review organizational development and mapping of talent with the CBO to support expansion to foster a culture of accountably amongst teams.
- Establish relationships’ across key departments and cross functional leaders.
- Lead strategies and team leadership for Brand Marketing, global.
CRITICAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
• Min 10 years related experience – marketing, communications, business and sales development
• Experienced in Project management and utilizing data to support decisions
• Ability to thrive and succeed in a fast paced high pressured growth environment.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with successful track record of building commercial and brand strategies.
• Strategist and successful in developing portfolio of brands and building awareness with proven track record.
• Solution orientated, inspiring, influencing cross functional teams and working with executive leadership.
• Experienced in brand financial and business metrics with strong ability to use actionable insights from sales and performance data into compelling brand marketing strategies.
• Stay informed of new market trends and consumer behaviour and culture, keep up with digital and complex media landscape developments.
• Able to drive vision across an organization and develop relationships to enable success and problem solve.
• Track record of architecting strategic roadmaps in a highly matrixed organization and leading projects.
