THE IMPACT OF THIS ROLE

Leading and attend all the managerial tasks and functions, as well as, be a support in the daily operations of the Department of Reception.

 

 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Be expected, though example, that employees address all hotel guests in a courteous and efficient.
  • Personally, welcome special and distinguished guest by introducing them to the General Manager or Director of the Resort.
  • Coordinate and implement the special service requirements of the guest as they are required or assigned and record the status of the service for the manager´s information.
  • Promote the use of the guests ‘surnames by the department´s associates.
  • Completed the Reception Pass On, on daily basis informing the management of the guests special: requirements, events, etc., listing procedures followed and futures concerns, as well as written comments following up in previous issues that have been noted for your solution by management.

CRITICAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Have extensive acknowledge and mastery of the LQA, AAA, Forbes y FHR standards.
  • Have acknowledge of the procedures of Glowing System, as well as notifying the Butlers of the guest requirements.
  • Manage the Givex system to redeem gift cards presented by guests as payment for their hotel bills.
  • Have an upscale acknowledge of the Transakcio System in order to give a solution of any doubt that guest may have regarding their payments during their stay.

 

DEVELOPMENT PATH

The Management Trainee will have the opportunity to develop the skills and experience necessary to progress into an Assistant Manager position. This growth will largely depend on their level of proactivity, commitment, and willingness to learn. Those who actively seek opportunities, demonstrate initiative, and consistently contribute to the team’s success will be well-positioned to advance within the organization.
