Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and service-driven Assistant Events Operations Manager to support the planning and execution of banquet and group events within our luxury hotel. This role partners closely with Sales, Culinary, and Banquets to ensure seamless event operations while upholding the highest standards of hospitality and guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities

Assist in overseeing daily banquet and event operations

Support the coordination and execution of meetings, weddings, galas, and corporate functions

Supervise banquet team members and ensure service standards are consistently met

Monitor event setups, breakdowns, and room transitions for accuracy and timeliness

Ensure adherence to luxury service standards and brand expectations

Address guest concerns promptly and professionally

Assist with scheduling, payroll review, and labor management
-
Maintain compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards

Partner with Culinary and Event Sales to ensure clear communication and flawless execution
Qualifications

2+ years of leadership experience in banquet or event operations, preferably in a luxury hotel environment

Strong organizational and multitasking skills

Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

Knowledge of banquet service standards and event logistics

Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Proficiency in event management and POS systems preferred
