Job Description

The Public Area Attendant ensures that all hotel public spaces are clean, well-maintained, and inviting for guests and associates. This role supports the overall guest experience by maintaining high hygiene standards in lobbies, corridors, restrooms, and other shared areas.

Responsibilities:

  • Cleans and maintains all public areas including lobbies, hallways, elevators, restrooms, and back-of-house spaces.

  • Ensures that all public spaces meet cleanliness and presentation standards at all times.

  • Reports any maintenance issues, safety concerns, or required repairs promptly.

  • Replenishes supplies in public restrooms and designated stations.

  • Handles cleaning products and equipment responsibly and in accordance with safety guidelines.

  • Supports the housekeeping team with special cleaning tasks and event setups when required.

  • Ensures compliance with all hygiene, sanitation, and safety regulations.

Requirements:

 

  • Previous experience in housekeeping or public area cleaning is an advantage.

  • Reliable, thorough, and well-organized working style.

  • Fluency in English.

  • Friendly and approachable personality with a strong team-player attitude.

  • Strong attention to detail and awareness of guest needs and expectations.
