Job Description

The Assistant Director of Sales – Japanese will assist leadership in all selling activities within the hotel, working closely with the Rooms, Food and Beverage, and other revenue-generating departments to maximize sales through the activities of the
Sales Department and other employees.


A good candidate should have at least 5 years of work experience in the same capacity and can communicate well in the Japanese language. He/she should have a thorough knowledge of hotel facilities, features, and services, carefully plan sales calls into defined objectives, pre-qualifies and target prospects, and develops appropriate and effective sales solicitation strategies to increase the hotel’s market share. He/she should also develop business for the Japanese international market.


The Assistant Director of Sales - Japanese should plan sales trips to Japan, and assist the Senior Sales Managers and Sales Manager in confirming groups (corporate or wholesale) that are originating from locally based Japanese companies. He/she should also have the ability to train, develop, direct, and motivate staff under his/her supervision, identify priorities, solve problems, produce desired results, and be accountable for commitments. He/she may be requested to assist operations to manage Japanese guests.


Two (2) years fixed contract with the company will also apply for expatriate individuals.
