Position Overview
The Security Manager will oversee all aspects of safety and security for Rosewood AMAALA, ensuring the protection of guests, associates, and assets while upholding the highest standards of luxury hospitality. This role requires strong leadership, a deep understanding of local security regulations, and the ability to implement world-class practices aligned with Rosewood’s commitment to creating a secure and welcoming environment.
As part of the pre-opening leadership team, the Security Manager will establish policies and procedures, build a professional security team, and collaborate with local authorities to ensure full compliance with Saudi regulations and cultural expectations.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and manage the Security Department, including recruitment, training, and daily operations. Develop and implement comprehensive security policies, procedures, and emergency response protocols tailored to the local environment.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi laws, government requirements, and Rosewood standards of safety and security.
• Build strong relationships with local authorities, regulatory bodies, and emergency services to ensure seamless coordination.
• Conduct regular risk assessments, audits, and drills to maintain readiness for all contingencies.
• Supervise the installation and operation of security systems including CCTV, access control, and alarm monitoring.
• Oversee the protection of hotel property, associates, and guests while maintaining discretion and a luxury guest experience.
• Support pre-opening activities including contractor/vendor security clearances, fire & safety planning, and training programs.
• Provide regular reports on security performance, incidents, and compliance to senior leadership.
• Promote a culture of vigilance, responsibility, and service among the team.
Qualifications
• Minimum 7–10 years of progressive security management experience, preferably in luxury hospitality, government, or high-profile organizations.
• In-depth knowledge of Saudi security regulations, local authority protocols, and cultural sensitivities is essential.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to build, motivate, and develop a professional security team.
• Strong organizational and crisis management abilities.
• Pre-opening experience in a luxury hotel or resort is highly desirable.
• Solid knowledge of fire safety, emergency response, and risk management.
• Degree or professional qualification in Security Management, Criminology, or related field.
• Fluency in Arabic is required; English fluency is a strong advantage
