Job Description

Role

We are currently looking for a Director of Rooms to join our senior management team at Rosewood London. This position is responsible for overseeing and directing all aspects of the Rooms division and maintaining the smooth running of the hotel and elevating the overall guest experience. 


Key expectations of this role
  • Set and develop strategies for the Rooms Division aligned with organizational vision and future aspirations. 
  • Guide and support department heads to achieve service excellence and operational targets.
  • Drive and lead initiatives for increasing awareness of Rosewood’s brand service standards and other quality standards across the hotel to ensure quality service & products remain at the forefront.
  • Monitor annual department budgets with Heads of Department throughout the year, recommend and implement appropriate actions.
  • Establish and maintain effective internal communication and meeting structures to ensure optimum teamwork and productivity.
  • Keep abreast of the newest trends and innovations in the hospitality industry and maintain an awareness of competitor activity/trends and recommend actions to ensure that the Hotel remains a forerunner in its marketplace.

Profile
  • Extensive experience in a senior Rooms Division or comparable leadership role within a luxury or upscale hotel environment.
  • Deep passion for hospitality, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional and memorable guest experiences.
  • A proactive, hands-on leadership style with outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Strategic thinker with a proven ability to develop effective operational strategies and solve complex challenges with a methodical approach.
  • In-depth knowledge of hotel operations, combined with a keen awareness of industry trends and evolving guest expectations.
