THE TEAM

At Rosewood London, our Sales team plays a pivotal role in driving commercial success and strengthening the hotel’s position within the luxury hospitality market. Reporting to the Director of Sales & Marketing, the Director of Sales is a key member of the leadership team, leading a proactive sales function while collaborating closely with operational teams, regional sales teams, and key stakeholders across the business. The role also provides leadership and guidance to a team of sales professionals, fostering a high-performing and collaborative culture.


YOUR ROLE

We are currently looking for a Director of Sales to join our leadership team at Rosewood London. In this influential role, you will support the Director of Sales & Marketing in leading the day-to-day operations of the sales team, delivering commercial objectives and driving revenue growth across the hotel. You will contribute to the development of strategic sales initiatives, oversee key accounts and market segments, and lead the execution of commercial strategies that maximise revenue and profitability. Working collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders, you will help shape the future success of the hotel while championing exceptional service and relationship-driven hospitality.


HOW YOU’LL MAKE THE PLACE

  • Drive rooms revenue performance and achieve the commercial targets established by the Director of Sales & Marketing.
  • Contribute to the development of a commercial strategy across all segments and channels to maximise revenue and profit performance.
  • Lead the execution of the commercial strategy through effective leadership and management of the proactive sales team.
  • Manage key accounts and markets while identifying new business opportunities and prospecting for future revenue growth.
  • Ensure sales strategies are effectively implemented during negotiations and maximise upselling opportunities across the team.
  • Develop, coach and inspire the sales team through ongoing performance management, training and development opportunities.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity and industry intelligence to identify opportunities and maintain a competitive advantage.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, representing Rosewood London with professionalism at industry events, client meetings and site visits.

  • You have established leadership experience within a sales environment and enjoy motivating teams to achieve ambitious goals.
  • You are a strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen and the ability to identify business opportunities.
  • You are skilled at leading, developing and empowering people, creating an environment where individuals and teams can thrive.
  • You are confident managing budgets, financial targets and commercial performance measures.
  • You are an excellent communicator with strong presentation and relationship management skills, able to build credibility with a broad range of stakeholders.
  • You have a strong understanding of the luxury hospitality market and guest-centric sales strategies.
  • You are proficient in Salesforce and Opera and use technology effectively to support business objectives.
  • You bring knowledge gained through higher education or equivalent professional experience in hospitality, business or marketing.

About Us

Rosewood London is housed in an Edwardian Belle Époque building that offers some of London's finest accommodations and service with the feel of a stylish London residence. Conveying the feel of a stylish London residence, Rosewood London has 263 guestrooms and 45 suites, among which the unique Grand Manor House Wing, an exclusive suite with its own postcode and accessed by a private elevator. The hotel also houses Holborn Dining Room with an outdoor terrace, Mirror Room Restaurant as well as the hotel’s warmly welcoming destination bar, Scarfes Bar. It forms part of the ultra-luxury collection Rosewood Hotels and Resorts® which comprises of over 38 properties and over 21 future hotel openings.
