Job Description

Summary

This position needs to be responsible for welcoming guests and working across the area of Front Office during your placement to deliver an excellent guest experience while managing guest queries. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 

  • Ensure accurate and efficient running of Front Desk
  • Respond to Guest queries in a timely and efficient manner
  • Understand thoroughly all hotel room categories, room rates, packages, promotions and other general product knowledge necessary to perform daily duties
  • Maximize room occupancy and use up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and facilities
  •  Arrange amenities for guests who are arriving tomorrow, celebrate birthday, anniversary and honeymoon
  • Check arrival report for tomorrow and go through all guests, make the information sheet and sent to all departments
  • Standing in the lobby and welcome our guests, and help with luggage assistant
  • Checking in guests during peak hours to ease traffic and assist colleagues
  • Provide general information about the room, hotel facilities, and provide assistance for restaurant reservations
  • Other responsibilities, as assigned, but not limited to the above. 
Requirement
  • Able to work on rotating shifts including weekends and public holiday.
  • Pleasant disposition with good interpersonal skills.
  • English skill.
