Job Description

The Chancery Rosewood, a Rosewood Hotel Group property, is housed in the iconic former U.S. Embassy on Grosvenor Square, reimagined by British architect Sir David Chipperfield. It will include 144 spacious suites designed by Joseph Dirand, including a variety of dining and entertainment spaces: providing a stage for progressive ideas, voices and expression.

We are seeking a talented and motivated Demi Chef de Partie to join our Culinary team ahead of The Chancery Rosewood opening. This is an exciting opportunity to refine your craft, learn from exceptional chefs, and contribute to one of London’s most anticipated luxury hotel openings.


As Demi Chef de Partie, you will:

  • Support your Chef de Partie in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes to the highest standard.

  • Work across assigned sections with precision, consistency, and attention to detail.

  • Maintain mise-en-place and ensure your station is always organised, clean, and service-ready.

  • Follow recipes, quality standards, and plating guidelines set by senior chefs.

  • Assist with stock rotation, labelling, and food safety compliance.

  • Contribute to menu development by bringing creativity, curiosity, and a willingness to learn.

  • Work collaboratively with the wider culinary and service teams to ensure smooth, timely, and exceptional service delivery.

About You

You will thrive in this role if you:

  • Have previous experience as a Demi Chef de Partie or strong Commis experience within luxury hotels, fine dining, or high-end restaurants.

  • Are passionate about food, flavour, and technique, with a keen desire to develop your skills.

  • Work well under pressure and maintain a calm, positive presence during busy service periods.

  • Care deeply about consistency, cleanliness, and the overall craft of cooking.

  • Are a team player with strong communication skills and a willingness to support the brigade wherever needed.
