Position Overview
Rosewood AMAALA, part of the ultra-luxury Red Sea Global destination, is seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Security Manager to join our pre-opening leadership team. This role is pivotal in safeguarding our associates, guests, assets, and property by leading and implementing world-class safety and security protocols. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with local regulations and international standards, while upholding Rosewood’s philosophy of A Sense of Place® and delivering an uncompromising luxury experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive security policies, procedures, and emergency response plans in line with Rosewood global standards and Saudi Arabian regulations.
- Lead, train, and motivate the security team to deliver professional, discreet, and guest-centric protection services.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to ensure a safe and secure environment for all guests, associates, and contractors.
- Collaborate closely with local authorities, Red Sea Global, and internal stakeholders to ensure legal compliance and best practices in security operations.
- Oversee installation, maintenance, and monitoring of security systems including CCTV, access controls, fire alarm systems, and emergency communications.
- Develop and deliver associate training programs on safety, fire prevention, first aid, and crisis response.
- Manage investigations related to incidents, accidents, theft, or breaches of policy, ensuring proper reporting and corrective measures.
- Act as the primary liaison during emergencies and coordinate evacuation or crisis management procedures.
- Support pre-opening activities by establishing security infrastructures, contractor access protocols, and event security planning.
- Uphold Rosewood’s brand values, ensuring that the guest experience remains seamless, safe, and discreet at all times.
- Qualifications
- Minimum 8–10 years of progressive security leadership experience, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial role within luxury hospitality or high-profile establishments.
- Pre-opening experience in luxury hotels or resorts is a strong advantage.
- In-depth knowledge of local security regulations, emergency protocols, and risk management frameworks.
- Proven ability to lead multicultural teams with integrity, professionalism, and discretion.
- Strong relationships with local law enforcement and regulatory bodies preferred.
- Excellent crisis management, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Fluency in English required; Arabic proficiency will be an asset.
