Impact of this role

Coordinator, Talent and Culture plays a pivotal role in supporting the foundation of Rosewood Hotel Group’s corporate operations. By ensuring the seamless execution of all Talent and Culture processes, this position directly impacts operational efficiency and overall company culture. This role is essential in upholding the company’s values and ensuring the success of both associates and the organization.


Key Responsibilities 

Talent Acquisition
• Post job openings on relevant platforms and manage candidate communication.
• Schedule interviews and coordinate with hiring managers.
• Process onboarding for new hires, ensuring all required paperwork is completed and systems are updated.
• Support onboarding by ensuring all paperwork is complete and coordinating The Perfect Discovery (welcome training) and agenda for The Perfect Departmental Discovery (introduction into department).

Talent Development
• Assist in planning and delivering The Perfect Discovery and The Perfect Departmental Discovery.
• Provide logistical support for global talent development initiatives.

Rewards
• Ensure accurate HRIS record-keeping, employee files, compensation and benefits, enrollment and updates.
• Support annual salary reviews and bonus distribution processes by preparing relevant paperwork.
• Act as a point of contact for associates inquiries regarding benefits and compensation.

Talent Management
• Support performance review cycles by tracking deadlines and providing administrative assistance.

Business Partner
• Provide administrative assistance to the department.
• Assist in managing vendor relationships related to Talent and Culture services
• Support cross-departmental collaboration to align talent and culture initiatives with business objectives.
• Coordinate offboarding processes, including exit interviews and final paperwork
• Prepare reports and data insights.

Associate Engagement
• Plan and execute associate engagement initiatives and events.
• Promote a positive workplace culture through regular communication and activities.

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI)
• Track and report on Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) to measure progress toward goals.
• Provide logistical support for DEI-related events and initiatives, ensuring alignment with company values.

Critical Skills & Qualification

Education and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree
• 1-2 years of experience in Human Resources role, preferably in the hospitality or corporate environment

Skills & Abilities
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) 
• Some previous experience with HRIS systems is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
• A proactive and positive attitude with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Additional Requirements
• Knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices is an asset.
• Passion for hospitality and a people-first mindset.
