THE TEAM

You’ll be joining our dynamic Development team, focused on expanding Rosewood Hotel Group’s presence across the EMEA region. This role reports directly to the Senior Vice President, Development, EMEA & APAC, and collaborates closely with cross-functional teams including Feasibility & Business Intelligence, Design & Project Services, Legal, Operations, and Finance.

YOUR ROLE

As the Director of Development, EMEA, you will play a pivotal role in driving the strategic growth of Rosewood Hotel Group’s brands across the region. You’ll be responsible for sourcing and negotiating management agreements, evaluating new opportunities, and representing our brand with integrity and professionalism. Your work will directly contribute to the expansion and long-term success of our portfolio in EMEA.

HOW YOU’LL MAKE THE PLACE

  • Source and negotiate management agreement deals for Rosewood Hotel Group’s brands across EMEA.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with potential business partners and industry stakeholders.
  • Evaluate sites and project proposals, making brand and facility recommendations.
  • Prepare business proposals, Letters of Intent, Term Sheets, and responses to RFPs in line with company guidelines.
  • Lead the negotiation of commercial aspects of management contracts, coordinating internal disciplines to ensure successful deal closure.
  • Represent Rosewood Hotel Group at industry events, promoting the brand with professionalism and passion.


COULD THIS BE YOU?

  • You’re business-minded and versatile in deal-making, with a strong understanding of hospitality real estate and market trends.
  • You have a background in development and/or feasibility from a hospitality group, or real estate or consulting group experience.
  • You’re polished in handling owner and developer relationships, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • You’re financially alert and proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other relevant applications.
  • You understand the principles of management contracts and can navigate complex negotiations with confidence.
  • You’re self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and fluent in English. Fluency in a European language would be a plus.
