Role Overview
The Food & Beverage Supervisor plays a key role in delivering warm, intuitive, and personalised service in line with Rosewood’s philosophy of A Sense of Place®. This position supports the daily operations of all food and beverage outlets, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, strong team leadership, and the highest standards of service, presentation, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Experience

Lead by example to deliver consistently exceptional, anticipatory service.

Engage with guests in a genuine and professional manner, ensuring personalised experiences.

Proactively resolve guest concerns and service issues with grace and efficiency.

Uphold Rosewood brand standards and service rituals at all times.
Operational Excellence

Supervise daily F&B operations across outlets, including restaurant, bar, events, and in-room dining as required.

Ensure smooth service flow during breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special events.

Monitor service quality, cleanliness, grooming, and presentation standards.

Assist with opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and shift reports.
Team Leadership & Development
-
Support the training, coaching, and mentoring of F&B colleagues.

Assist with staff scheduling, attendance monitoring, and break management.

Provide clear direction during service and motivate the team to perform at their best.

Promote a positive, respectful, and inclusive team culture.
Food, Beverage & Wine Knowledge
-
Maintain strong knowledge of menus, beverages, wine lists, and daily specials.

Confidently make recommendations tailored to guest preferences.

Support wine service standards and collaborate with the sommelier team where applicable.
Compliance & Standards

Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and liquor licensing regulations.

Enforce grooming, uniform, and workplace behaviour standards.

Follow Rosewood policies and procedures at all times.
Skills & Experience
-
Previous experience in a supervisory role within luxury or premium hospitality.

Strong leadership and communication skills.

A genuine passion for food, wine, and exceptional service.

High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.

Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.
-
Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and public holidays.
-
Responsible Service of Alcohol (or willingness to obtain).
