OUR PURPOSE AND CULTURE

We are driven to create a future where people and place enrich one another. We are wholly committed to rooting ourselves more deeply in every place we are in while setting new benchmarks for positive impact.

As a pioneering collective with a common purpose, we curate extraordinary moments and honor the soul of every place along our journey. At Rosewood Hotel Group, we answer The Calling. Together, we Make the Place.

THE TEAM

The Global Business Planning and Intelligence team is responsible for embedding enterprise-wide planning discipline, structured communication, and data-informed decision-making across Rosewood Hotel Group. The team plays a critical role in shaping strategic planning cycles, aligning operational priorities, developing KPIs, and delivering clear performance visibility through intuitive dashboards. This role reports directly into the Chief Operating Officer and partners closely with Customer Experience (CX), Operations, Commercial, and Corporate teams to ensure cross-functional alignment and organizational clarity.

YOUR ROLE

As Senior Director, Business Planning and Intelligence, you will serve as a strategic leader guiding enterprise-wide planning, communications, and performance insight. You will translate Rosewood’s global strategy into actionable annual plans, establish communication structures that keep the organization synchronized, and ensure KPIs are defined and leveraged to guide decisions. By strengthening planning rigor, elevating communication quality, and enabling real-time visibility of performance, you will help senior leadership — including the COO — prioritize effectively, evaluate progress, and respond quickly to evolving business needs across regions and functions.

HOW YOU’LL MAKE THE PLACE

  • Build and maintain a global communication framework that aligns CX, Operations, Commercial, and supporting functions.
  • Define communication cadences, meeting structures, templates, and messaging standards.
  • Oversee logistics for COO-sponsored communication forums, including scheduling, agenda design, and attendee coordination.
  • Lead and manage the enterprise annual planning process, including strategy workshops and structured planning frameworks.
  • Cascade annual plans and KPIs through regional and functional layers to ensure alignment with enterprise priorities.
  • Lead quarterly performance tracking and executive reporting to highlight progress, gaps, and required actions.
  • Partner cross-functionally to design intuitive dashboards that provide real-time visibility into business performance.
  • Coach teams to elevate planning rigor, communication effectiveness, and analytical capability across the organization.

COULD THIS BE YOU?

  • You bring extensive experience in business planning, corporate strategy, PMO, or operational/commercial strategy.
  • You thrive in multi-regional, matrixed organizations and are comfortable navigating complexity across geographies.
  • You are skilled at designing planning frameworks, building KPIs, and creating communication structures that drive alignment.
  • You have strong analytical capability and can derive meaningful insights from performance data.
  • You understand planning methodologies, project management principles, and business intelligence concepts.
  • You excel at simplifying complexity, creating clarity, and enabling informed decision-making.
  • You communicate with confidence, influence effectively at all levels, and are comfortable with C-suite visibility.
  • You are proactive, structured, culturally aware, and skilled at driving alignment across diverse teams.

OUR COMMITMENT TO YOU

At Rosewood Hotel Group, your voice is heard – and valued. We’re a community that encourages associates to be themselves, not fit into a fixed culture, and this philosophy shines through in our commitments to reflect and honor the history, culture and geography of our destinations. We’re not only committed to building and nurturing genuine, long-lasting relationships but to transforming them – and our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) strategy helps put these principles into practice.
