Descripción del trabajo

The Chancery Rosewood, a Rosewood Hotel Group property, is housed in the iconic former U.S. Embassy on Grosvenor Square, reimagined by British architect Sir David Chipperfield. It includes 144 spacious suites designed by Joseph Dirand, alongside a collection of distinctive dining and entertainment spaces, providing a stage for progressive ideas, voices and expression.

At The Chancery Rosewood, relationship hospitality defines how we operate. We are seeking a Director of Guest Experience to provide senior operational leadership across our guest-facing departments and ensure continuity of service during key trading periods. The Director of Guest Experience works in close partnership with the Hotel Manager and Managing Director, and collaboratively with the Director of Food & Beverage and Director of Rooms, to ensure operational cohesion across the hotel. Positioned at the centre of the operation, this individual will orchestrate the daily flow of service, strengthen alignment between Rooms and Food & Beverage and safeguard a consistent luxury guest experience across all touchpoints. There are no direct reports at present. Influence, credibility and cross-functional leadership will therefore be essential.

Working Wednesday to Sunday from 3pm onwards, this role provides visible evening and weekend leadership within the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide senior evening and weekend operational coverage
  • Maintain a strong and visible presence throughout the hotel, leading by example and ensuring operational issues are resolved promptly and effectively
  • Act as liaison between Rooms Division and Food & Beverage to ensure seamless delivery
  • Lead cross-departmental briefings for VIP arrivals, events and peak occupancy
  • Monitor service standards, guest feedback and quality metrics, intervening where necessary
  • Support delivery of agreed business objectives
  • Act as senior operational lead in the absence of the Hotel Manager

About You

  • Senior operational experience within a luxury hotel environment is essential
  • Strong understanding of both Rooms and Food & Beverage operations; experience across both disciplines is highly desirable
  • A calm, credible and visible leader on the floor
  • Multilingual capabilities are advantageous; Arabic language skills would be particularly valued
  • High levels of discretion and sound judgement

At Rosewood, we invite our associates to bring your true self, to curate the extraordinary in every interaction, to enrich and be enriched through meaningful collaboration, and ultimately to leave your legacy through the standards you uphold. If this opportunity aligns with your experience, we would welcome a confidential conversation.
