The Director of Sales, North America Eastern Region, serves as a key ambassador for Las Ventanas al Paraíso and Rosewood Hotels & Resorts, responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and cultivating strategic partnerships throughout Eastern North America.
This role oversees a portfolio of luxury travel advisors, consortia partners, wholesalers, and high-value leisure accounts across Eastern Canada, the Northeastern and Southeastern United States. Through thoughtful account management, business development, and market intelligence, the Director of Sales will strengthen brand presence, generate incremental business, and position Las Ventanas al Paraíso as the preferred luxury resort destination within the region.
The successful candidate will be based remotely in New York, New Jersey, or Texas and will work closely with the Global Sales Office and on-property teams to achieve revenue objectives while delivering the exceptional standards synonymous with the Rosewood brand.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Achieve and exceed annual revenue goals through the strategic sale of accommodations, villas, residences, dining experiences, spa services, and ancillary resort offerings.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for the Eastern North America region, identifying opportunities for revenue growth across key luxury leisure, consortia, wholesale, and transient segments.
- Cultivate, manage, and expand relationships with top-producing luxury travel advisors, consortia stakeholders, wholesalers, and key industry partners, including Virtuoso, Signature Travel Network, and Serandipians.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities through targeted prospecting, relationship development, client engagement, industry events, and strategic partnerships.
- Collaborate closely with Rosewood Global Sales Offices, sister properties, airline partners, destination organizations, and private aviation partners to maximize market exposure and revenue opportunities.
CRITICAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS- Minimum five years of luxury hospitality sales experience, including at least three years in a leadership or senior sales capacity. Experience representing luxury resorts is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth, developing strategic partnerships, and managing high-performing luxury leisure accounts.
- Established relationships within the luxury travel advisor community and familiarity with major consortia networks, including Virtuoso, Signature Travel Network, and Serandipians.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze market trends, identify opportunities, and develop effective sales strategies.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Spanish language proficiency is advantageous.
- Ability to travel extensively throughout the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Estimated travel requirement of 30%–40% annually.
- Partner with the Elite Sales Coordinator and resort operational teams to facilitate site inspections, client visits, and sales initiatives that convert business and deepen customer engagement.
