Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Leadership & Guest Experience

    Champion the delivery of refined, intuitive, and personalized service that aligns with Rosewood, LQA, and Forbes service standards. 

    Maintain a highly visible presence throughout all dining venues, ensuring consistent engagement, recognition, and proactive service recovery. 

    Cultivate a culture of relationship hospitality, anticipating guest and associate needs with emotional intelligence, finesse, and discretion. 

    Ensure that each guest experience—from greeting to fond farewell—is seamless, memorable, and reflective of ultra-luxury expectations.


Operational Excellence

    Oversee daily operations across all F&B outlets, ensuring cohesive execution, consistency, and compliance with brand standards. 

    Provide periodic operational support and coverage in the Food & Beverage outlets as required.

    Ensure all outlets meet luxury presentation standards, ambiance requirements, cleanliness, and service sequences. 

    Conduct pre-shift briefings, departmental meetings, and consistent communication to ensure clarity of expectations and alignment with departmental goals. 

    Oversee and audit POS systems, order guides, menus and operational checklists to ensure accuracy and timely completion.

    Ensure compliance with all local health, safety, and liquor regulations and promote a safe working environment.


Service Standards & Quality Assurance

    Uphold and continuously reinforce Rosewood Brand, LQA and Forbes Five-Star service standards through training, coaching, and performance management. 

    Conduct regular service observations and quality audits, providing feedback and implementing corrective action where required. 

    Design and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure clarity and consistency in processes

    Review guest feedback, survey results, and TrustYou; lead action plans to consistently improve guest satisfaction. 

    Ensure product knowledge mastery across all teams, including wine, spirits, mixology, culinary offerings, and resort experiences.


Associate Development & Rosewood Culture

    Lead, mentor, and inspire all F&B associates, fostering a culture of empowerment, accountability, and high performance. 

    Support recruitment, onboarding, and training initiatives to attract guest-centric talent. 

    Reinforce associate engagement, recognition, and communication to ensure a positive, inclusive, and motivated team environment.


Financial Management & Business Performance

    Assist in the management of department budgets, cost-control measures, labour optimization, and revenue enhancement strategies. 

    Ensure adherence to inventory, par levels, and procurement procedures, maintaining cost efficiency without compromising luxury quality. 

    Support the development of innovative promotions, wine pairings, menu offerings, and experiences that drive guest satisfaction and revenue. 

    Support in analyzing business trends and competitive offerings to position the resort as a leading dining destination.


Administrative & Additional Responsibilities

    Review arrival and departure reports, SAG preferences, and internal communication platforms to prepare for personalized service. 

    Complete daily administrative tasks accurately and efficiently, including scheduling, payroll updates, reports, and documentation (ADP) responsibilities. 

    Assist with emergency procedures, safety protocols, and crisis communication in accordance with resort standards. 

    Fulfill additional duties as assigned by leadership to ensure the operational success of the Food & Beverage division.


Qualifications, Education & Professional Background

    Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Administration, Business Management, or a related field preferred. 

    Minimum 3–5 years of progressive leadership experience in Food & Beverage within a luxury hotel or resort environment. 

    Experience working within ultra-luxury brands or properties rated by Forbes Travel Guide or assessed by Leading Quality Assurance strongly preferred. 

    Proven track record managing multiple dining outlets, high-volume operations, and diverse service environments (restaurants, bars, IRD, banquets, events). 

    Deep understanding of Forbes Five-Star and LQA service expectations, guest engagement principles, and luxury sequence-of-service delivery. 

    Strong knowledge of premium culinary concepts, wine and beverage programs, mixology, and luxury dining trends. 

    Proficiency with POS platforms, inventory systems, labour management tools, and hotel operating systems (Opera or similar). 

    Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire, and develop multicultural teams in a high-end hospitality environment.
