Rosewood Little Dix Bay currently seeks a Director of Food & Beverage who is a well-rounded and seasoned individual to be a part of our iconic resort.
The Director of Food & Beverage will oversee the development and implementation of strategies & operations for the complete Food & Beverage department of Rosewood Little Dix Bay, encompassing four outlets, villas & in-room dining and beach service, as well as private events for groups and individuals.  

The position ensures that guest satisfaction remains at the expected levels. and implements hotel-wide strategies that deliver products and services to meet property financial expectations. The role oversees the people development of the department through the management and motivation of managers and line associates, and by ensuring training & development is built into the culture of the team. 

Key Expectations 

Manages all operations and associates on a daily basis to ensure a consistent, high quality food product and motivates the team with a service driven desire to exceed the expectations of our guests
Provide leadership and management for all Food and Beverage Service Associates.
Complete, accurately and efficiently, all paperwork and administrative duties as and when necessary to ensure effective running of the office.
Maintain and develop good relations within (or without) resort with all existing or new suppliers and contractors.
Estimates and orders relevant foodstuffs, liquors, wines, or other beverages, and supplies.
Investigates customer’s complaints concerning service, food, and beverages, compiling training sessions as needed.
Plans and arranges promotional programs for the bars and restaurants, including external guest incentives and pop-up activations for all visitors.
Assists in hiring food & beverage team members who demonstrate strong functional expertise, creativity and entrepreneurial leadership to meet the business needs of the operation.
Ensures new hires participate in the department’s orientation program and receive the appropriate new hire training to successfully perform their job. Ensures team members are cross-trained to support successful daily operations.
Controls all costs in accordance with the yearly budgets and forecasts.
Implements new ideas and continuous improvements within the Food & Beverage department.
Any other task deemed necessary by Management within the scope of the operation.

Minimum Requirements

Experience as Director of Food & Beverage at a comparable property; i.e. Forbes 5 star. T&L Top 500 etc
Minimum of 5 years international Hospitality experience with a minimum of 2 years in a management/supervisor position in the luxury hotel sector. Formal training preferred
Track record of creating and launching new F&B activations 
Experience of working in a remote location preferable
A valid Food Handler’s certificate is a must.
High profile events organizational skills and experience
