THE TEAM
You will be part of the Sales & Marketing team at Rosewood Schloss Fuschl, working closely with the Director of Sales & Marketing and collaborating close with the local and Corporate Brand Marketing and Communications teams.
This role partners cross-functionally with Operations, Talent & Culture, and Commercial leaders to ensure the hotel’s brand story is consistently brought to life across all touchpoints, both locally and globally.
YOUR ROLE
As Director of Marketing and Communications, you will lead the strategic positioning of Rosewood Schloss Fuschl within the ultra-luxury landscape, shaping how the property is perceived across global, regional, and local markets.
You will drive a fully integrated 360° marketing and communications strategy that fuels demand, strengthens brand equity, and delivers measurable commercial impact. Acting as a Brand Champion, you will balance creative storytelling with performance-driven execution, working closely with internal stakeholders, corporate teams, and external partners to ensure cohesive, elevated brand expression across all channels.
HOW YOU’LL MAKE THE PLACE
- Lead and execute a comprehensive 360° marketing and communications strategy aligned with annual KPIs, business objectives, and Rosewood’s ultra-luxury positioning
- Develop and manage high-impact brand marketing, PR, and media engagement initiatives to drive global visibility and advocacy
- Oversee integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social, paid, earned, and traditional media channels
- Direct content creation and brand storytelling, including photo and video shoots, editorial content, and partnerships
- Manage agency relationships and the annual MarCom budget with a focus on ROI and performance optimization
- Collaborate with Operations and Commercial teams to integrate F&B, Wellness, and Entertainment into holistic marketing initiatives
- Drive CRM, EDM, and guest engagement strategies to enhance personalization and revenue growth
- Act as a senior brand ambassador, representing the property at media events, partnerships, and industry engagements
COULD THIS BE YOU?
- You have 8+ years of experience in luxury marketing and communications, ideally within hospitality, lifestyle, retail, or entertainment sectors
- You bring a proven track record of delivering 360° marketing strategies across digital, social, partnerships, and creative campaigns
- You have strong expertise across earned, owned, and paid media, with a data-driven approach to performance and optimization
- You are highly skilled in stakeholder and agency management, confidently influencing across teams and functions
- You have solid experience managing budgets, measuring ROI, and aligning marketing investment with commercial outcomes
- You possess exceptional storytelling and communication skills, with native or near-native English fluency (additional languages are an advantage)
- You demonstrate deep understanding of local and feeder markets, with cultural insight and strong industry networks
- You are a strategic, forward-thinking leader who thrives in a dynamic, ultra-luxury environment
