We are looking for a motivated and energetic Director of Engineering to join Rosewood Vienna.

Job Summary:

  • Responsibility for the internal technical team and close cooperation with external partners
  • Responsibility for maintenance and servicing work
  • Coordination of defect detection, notification and rectification
  • Responsibility for compliance with all internal and external laws and standards
  • Co-operation with the safety specialist
  • Joint planning of conversion work and its implementation
  • Process and cost optimisation in the areas of energy, maintenance and servicing
  • Preparation of forecasts and maintenance and investment budgets
  • Requesting quotations and ordering spare parts, new purchases and replacement equipment 
  • Supporting our guests with minor technical problems

Required Skills:

  • Completed training in the commercial technical field
  • Professional experience in a similar position in the technical field in the hotel industry is an advantage 
  • Entrepreneurial thinking with organisational skills
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills

Rosewood Vienna also features Sense, A Rosewood Spa, which serves as a private sanctuary for relaxation away from the busy sights and sounds of the city. Additionally, the hotel includes meetings and events spaces to allow for a variety of private gatherings and conferences.
