The Director of Technology Experience is a senior leadership role responsible for translating corporate IT strategy into effective, secure, and guest-centric technology solutions at the property level. This role ensures that all technology platforms support business objectives, enhance guest experiences, and comply with enterprise standards for cybersecurity, privacy, and governance.

Working as a strategic partner to property leadership and corporate IT teams, the role leads digital transformation initiatives, manages complex technology environments, and drives organizational alignment to deliver technology programs on time, within scope, and to the highest standards of service excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute and localize corporate IT and digital transformation initiatives at property level.

• Partner with corporate IT to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, and privacy standards.

• Lead cloud-based infrastructure and automation initiatives to modernize operations and enhance guest experience.

• Oversee cybersecurity, data protection, and compliance (e.g. GDPR, CCPA) across all systems.

• Ensure PMS and guest-facing technologies support personalization, operational efficiency, and service excellence.

• Lead complex technology projects, vendor relationships, and cross-functional implementations.

• Drive organizational adoption of technology through stakeholder engagement, change management, and training.

• Develop, mentor, and lead IT teams to build long-term technology capability.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.

• Minimum 5 years of IT leadership experience, preferably within luxury hospitality.

• 10+ years of progressive IT experience, including at least 4 years in a management or director-level role.

• Proven experience leading digital transformation and complex technology environments.

• Strong expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), cybersecurity, and enterprise systems.

• Experience with hotel PMS and guest-facing technologies.

• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and change leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP).

• Cybersecurity certifications (CISSP, CISM, or equivalent).

• Project management certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent).

• Experience with automation, data analytics, or AI-enabled solutions in hospitality.

Located along Saudi Arabia's west coast on the Shura Island, the new Rosewood hotel and residences will be part of The Red Sea destination. Poised to be one of Saudi Arabia's top cultural and lifestyle hubs, the development is comprised of a stunning marina offering a yacht club, commercial retail and dining options, as well as an 18-hole championship golf course.

The development will boast 149 guest rooms and suites, alongside elevated dining offerings including three restaurants, two lounges, a signature Manor Club and a central hub featuring authentic eateries. Additional recreational spaces will include event pavilions and Asaya, Rosewood's integrative well-being concept consisting of seven treatment rooms, a gym, two movement studios and a yoga pavilion.
