Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Luxury Guest Experience & Service Excellence

    Deliver warm, personalized, and anticipatory service in accordance with LQA, Forbes and Rosewood service standards.

    Ensure all guest arrivals, and overnight requests are handled efficiently and professionally.

    Act as the primary point of contact for guest concerns, service recovery situations, and special requests during overnight hours.

    Ensure guest preferences, profiles, and special arrangements are accurately communicated and executed.

    Provide VIP and special guest assistance as required, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience.


Overnight Front Office Operations

    Ensure all overnight procedures, checklists, and operational tasks are completed accurately and on schedule.

    Verify guest registrations, room assignments, room status updates, and guest profile information for accuracy.

    Conduct daily bucket checks, room status verifications, and guest account reviews to maintain operational integrity.

    Ensure Front Office work areas, lobby spaces, and guest-facing environments remain organized, professional, and presentation-ready at all times.

    Maintain accurate records, shift logs, handover notes, and operational communications to support continuity between shifts.


Night Audit & Financial Controls

    Complete and oversee all night audit procedures in accordance with company policies and accounting standards.

    Verify guest folios, room rates, package inclusions, meal plans, and billing arrangements to ensure accuracy and revenue capture.

    Review and reconcile daily transactions, postings, payments, and departmental revenues.

    Perform credit limit monitoring and ensure compliance with established financial controls.

    Generate and distribute daily operational, financial, and management reports within required timelines.

    Coordinate with Finance, Reservations, and Front Office teams to resolve discrepancies and maintain accurate records.


Safety, Security & Risk Management

    Serve as the primary overnight leader in the absence of senior management.

    Monitor resort safety and security procedures and respond appropriately to emergencies, incidents, and guest concerns.

    Coordinate with Security, Engineering, and other departments to ensure prompt resolution of operational issues.

    Document and communicate all incidents, guest concerns, and operational issues through established reporting procedures.


Communication & Cross-Department Collaboration

    Maintain effective communication with all resort departments to ensure seamless guest service delivery.

    Prepare comprehensive shift handovers and communicate key information to daytime leadership teams.

    Participate in departmental meetings, training sessions, and operational briefings as required.


Qualifications & Experience

    Diploma or Certificate in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

    Minimum of 2–3 years of Front Office experience within a luxury hotel, resort, or upscale hospitality environment.

    Previous supervisory or team leadership experience in Front Office operations preferred.

    Strong understanding of luxury hospitality standards, guest service principles, and front office procedures.

    Familiarity with Forbes Travel Guide, LQA, or similar luxury service standards is an asset.

    Proficiency in Property Management Systems (PMS), Microsoft Office applications, and hotel operational software.

    Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with guests and associates at all levels.

    Demonstrated ability to handle guest concerns, resolve conflicts, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.

    Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and commitment to operational excellence.

    Ability to lead, coach, motivate, and develop associates to achieve service and performance objectives.

    Flexible schedule with five overnight shifts per week.

    Fluent in English; additional languages are considered an advantage.

    Must possess a professional appearance, positive attitude, and a genuine passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
