As the Director of Talent & Culture, you will play a pivotal role in shaping a vibrant culture that inspires excellence in service and teamwork. This role will oversee talent acquisition, training and development, employee engagement, and diversity initiatives while championing the values of hospitality, inclusivity, and innovation. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic leader who can align our people strategy with our business objectives to create exceptional guest and employee experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Talent Acquisition & Development:
- Develop and implement strategies to attract and retain top talent who share our passion for hospitality.
- Design training and development programs to enhance skills in guest service, leadership, and operational excellence.
- Build clear career pathways to support team members’ growth within the organization.
- Organizational Culture & Engagement:
- Foster a culture of service, teamwork, and continuous improvement that aligns with our brand values.
- Lead employee engagement initiatives that enhance job satisfaction and workplace happiness.
- Act as a cultural ambassador, ensuring that every team member embodies our commitment to exceptional guest experiences.
- Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion:
- Champion initiatives to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion across the organization.
- Ensure that hiring, training, and leadership practices reflect our commitment to building an inclusive workplace.
- Leadership & Collaboration:
- Partner with Head of Departments to align talent strategies with operational goals.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership on employee relations, workforce planning, and organizational culture.
- Performance Management & Recognition:
- Oversee performance management systems to ensure alignment with company objectives.
- Design and implement recognition programs that celebrate team member achievements and service milestones.
- Compliance & HR Operations:
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Oversee compensation, benefits, and employee relations in a way that aligns with our commitment to fairness and transparency.
Qualifications
- Several years of experience in human resources, talent management, or culture-building roles within the hospitality or service industries.
- Demonstrated expertise in talent acquisition, training, and employee engagement strategies.
- Strong understanding of hospitality operations and the unique challenges of a fast-paced service environment.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and influence at all levels.
- Passion for creating a culture of inclusion, belonging, and guest-centered service.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Hospitality Management, or a related field
