IMPACT OF THIS ROLE

In this pivotal role the Corporate Residential Manager will oversee all Rosewood Residential Financial Responsibilities, and will possess a comprehensive understanding of HOA operations, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to independently oversee and support multiple homeowner associations and projects. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our residential communities, maintaining high standards of service, and fostering positive relationships with our board members and homeowners. The Corporate Residential Manager will operate within the requirements of the residence budget, developing strategies that deliver products and services that exceed the needs and expectations of the residence. The Corporate Residential Manager will also implement training programs related to property management and reinforcing Rosewood standards and service philosophy while delivering solid business results.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Obtain, review, and evaluate proposals and contracts, providing recommendations to the local or regional management team.
  • Attend and participate in annual board meetings/assembly, representing Rosewood Residences, as required.
  • Oversee and review comprehensive Board packets for meetings, including all necessary documentation and reports.
  • Ensure all RWHG Finance policies and local civil code requirements are met and regularly review the HOA's Governing Documents. Work with House Managers and management teams to ensure compliance with licenses, insurance, permits, etc.
  • Read and interpret financial statements, Governing Documents, and Reserve Studies, and effectively communicate this information to internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure timely preparation of the annual budget and tax filings. Seek and review justifications for HOA fee increases.
  • Conduct annual audits, working with third-party auditors as needed or as determined by the board.
  • Oversee payroll processing, staffing / headcount and benefit forecasting for future projects, supporting the development pipeline.
  • Ensure timely and accurate record-keeping of all financial transactions and statements.
  • Lead the pre-opening budget preparation for new projects.
  • Oversee and monitor reserve fund allocation and utilization for current and future projects.
  • Uphold all operational standards that align with the brand business strategy and execution.
  • Work collaboratively to adhere to work processes and systems supporting the residential onsite operation.
  • Educate all associates about Residences through regular communication and training and support the Residences recognition program.
  • Provide input and planning on an ongoing basis to address business needs and maintain operational service standards.
  • Ensure all privacy and security matters are fulfilled for homeowners, including following protocol for contractors on property and inside residences.
  • Educate owners on services provided, including basic and a la carte options such as preventative maintenance.


REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 5-year experience in homeowner association management.
  • College degree or equivalent required; advanced certifications in HOA management preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and state-mandated vehicle insurance.
  • Excellent oral, written, and listening skills.
  • Strong leadership competencies with strategic thinking, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Effective relationship management skills, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Sound financial acumen with experience managing P&L and HOA budgets.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-starter capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to read and interpret financial statements and related documents.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with HOA management software preferred.
  • Professional manner and ability to engage effectively with a diverse range of clients and stakeholders.
  • Thorough understanding of civil codes related to HOAs and the ability to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.

  • Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA)
  • Association Management Specialist (AMS)
  • Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM)
