The Chancery Rosewood, a Rosewood Hotel Group property, is housed in the iconic former U.S. Embassy on Grosvenor Square, reimagined by British architect Sir David Chipperfield. It includes 144 spacious suites designed by Joseph Dirand, including a variety of dining and entertainment spaces: providing a stage for progressive ideas, voices and expression.

Serra is a vibrant dining destination within The Chancery Rosewood, celebrating ingredient-led cooking, seasonality, and refined simplicity. We are seeking a passionate and ambitious Commis Chef to join our culinary brigade and play a key role in delivering exceptional dining experiences.

About the Role

As a Breakfast Chef at Serra, you will support the senior culinary team in preparing and presenting dishes to the highest standards. This is an opportunity to build strong culinary foundations within a luxury environment that values craftsmanship, collaboration, and precision. You will work closely with the Chef de Partie and Sous Chef to ensure seamless service while continuously developing your technical skills and product knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and present dishes in line with Serra’s standards and specifications

• Complete mise en place efficiently and accurately ahead of service

• Maintain impeccable hygiene and food safety standards at all times

• Ensure your section is organised, clean, and fully prepared

• Support the team during busy services with professionalism and focus

• Demonstrate a genuine desire to learn and grow within a luxury kitchen environment

About You

• Previous experience in a professional kitchen (luxury hotel or high-quality restaurant preferred)

• Culinary qualification or equivalent training

• Strong understanding of basic cooking techniques and kitchen operations

• Passion for seasonal ingredients and refined presentation

• Calm under pressure with strong attention to detail

• Positive attitude and team-focused mindset
