The Chancery Rosewood, a Rosewood Hotel Group property, is housed in the iconic former U.S. Embassy on Grosvenor Square, reimagined by British architect Sir David Chipperfield. It includes 144 spacious suites designed by Joseph Dirand, including a variety of dining and entertainment spaces: providing a stage for progressive ideas, voices and expression.

We are seeking a commercially astute and guest-focused Director of Technology Experience to lead the execution of corporate technology strategy at property level. As a Director of Technology Experience, you will ensure technology drives guest experience, operational excellence, security and brand standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate global IT strategy into structured property-level implementation plans

• Align initiatives with enterprise governance, cybersecurity, and digital transformation objectives

• Act as primary liaison between property leadership and corporate technology teams

• Lead a predominantly cloud-based ecosystem (AWS, Azure, GCP)

• Drive automation and innovation initiatives to modernise operations

• Optimise infrastructure for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency

• Own the property’s cybersecurity and compliance posture

• Oversee patch management, access controls, antivirus, and network security

• Ensure GDPR and global privacy regulation compliance

• Ensure technology enhances every stage of the guest journey

• Oversee PMS and guest-facing systems

• Implement data analytics to support personalisation and operational insights

• Provide strategic leadership to the IT team

• Lead complex projects on time and within budget

• Manage vendor relationships and contract negotiations

• Drive organisational adoption of new technologies

About You

• 10+ years progressive IT experience

• Minimum 4 years in a senior leadership/Director-level role

• Luxury hospitality experience preferred

• Proven experience delivering digital transformation initiatives

• Advanced knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP

• Strong understanding of cloud security and automation

• Experience with hotel PMS and guest-facing technologies

• Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and privacy compliance

• Executive-level communication and influencing skills

• Strong commercial acumen

• Ability to translate technical concepts into business value

• Demonstrated success leading cross-functional change

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field

• Cloud, cybersecurity, or project management certifications advantageous

Working Environment

• Full-time executive role

• Occasional evening/weekend availability for maintenance or emergency response

• Travel as required
