The Chancery Rosewood is redefining luxury in Mayfair, housed in the former U.S. Embassy and reimagined by Sir David Chipperfield. With 144 suites by Joseph Dirand and a collection of dynamic dining and bar spaces, it’s a place where experiences are curated, conversations flow, and every detail matters.

As Head Bartender, you will be the standard-bearer behind the bar — a master of the craft and a natural leader, responsible for delivering an exceptional beverage experience while ensuring the operation runs with precision, energy, and consistency across every shift.

Key Responsibilities

Set the standard behind the bar — leading by example through technically assured, guest-focused work on every shift and bringing the team with you through coaching, briefings, and in-service support.
Prepare and serve the full beverage menu with mastery and consistency, personalising recommendations and upselling naturally to enhance each guest’s experience.
Oversee bar opening and closing, stock management, and mise en place — ensuring every shift begins fully prepared and nothing is left to chance during service.
Lead confidently in the absence of the Bar Manager, making sound decisions that protect the guest experience and reflect the values of the property.
Contribute to the ongoing evolution of the bar — sharing ideas for new offerings and seasonal creations, and upholding all responsible service and compliance standards without compromise.
