The Chancery Rosewood, a Rosewood Hotel Group property, is housed in the iconic former U.S. Embassy on Grosvenor Square, reimagined by British architect Sir David Chipperfield. It includes 144 spacious suites designed by Joseph Dirand, including a variety of dining and entertainment spaces: providing a stage for progressive ideas, voices and expression.

We are seeking a confident and experienced Floor Manager to join our restaurant team on a maternity cover contract.

In this role, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the floor, ensuring service is delivered with precision, consistency and genuine hospitality. You will lead by example, supporting and guiding the team while maintaining a calm and attentive presence throughout service. This position offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic and collaborative environment, contributing to the delivery of exceptional dining experiences within one of London’s most distinctive luxury hotels.


Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate restaurant service to ensure a smooth and well-paced guest experience

  • Lead and support the front-of-house team during service, maintaining high standards of professionalism and hospitality

  • Work closely with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure seamless communication and service flow

  • Monitor the guest experience throughout service, responding thoughtfully to requests and feedback

  • Ensure the restaurant floor is presented to the highest standards at all times

  • Support team development through coaching, guidance and leading by example

  • Assist with reservations management, table allocation and service planning where required


About You

  • Previous experience as a Floor Manager, Assistant Restaurant Manager, or Senior Supervisor within a luxury hotel or high-end restaurant

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide and motivate a team during service

  • Excellent organisational ability and attention to detail

  • A composed and professional presence in a fast-paced environment

  • A genuine passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments
