THE TEAM

You’ll be part of our Banquets team, working closely with the Banquet Manager and a dynamic group of service professionals who bring events to life every day. From intimate gatherings to large-scale celebrations, the team plays a key role in delivering memorable experiences that reflect our brand standards and attention to detail.

YOUR ROLE

As a Banquet Captain, you’ll lead the team on the floor, ensuring every event runs smoothly from start to finish. You’ll be the link between the kitchen, service team, and event hosts—keeping everything aligned while maintaining a strong focus on guest experience.

Your role is hands-on and visible, supporting the team, guiding service flow, and stepping in whenever needed to ensure every detail is delivered to the highest standard. Through your leadership, you’ll help create seamless, thoughtful experiences that truly reflect what Rosewood stands for.

HOW YOU’LL MAKE THE PLACE

• Lead and support the Banquet team to deliver seamless service across all events
• Coordinate event setup, service flow, and breakdown in line with hotel standards
• Conduct team briefings and ensure everyone is aligned on event details and expectations
• Monitor service quality and guest experience, stepping in to resolve any issues quickly
• Liaise with kitchen and stewarding teams to ensure smooth coordination and timing
• Build strong relationships with guests and event organizers, ensuring their needs are met

COULD THIS BE YOU?

• You have at least 3 years of experience in banquet or event service
• You’re confident leading a team and enjoy being hands-on during service
• You have strong attention to detail and can manage multiple priorities at once
• You stay calm under pressure and know how to solve problems quickly
• You’re a strong communicator and work well with different teams
• You genuinely enjoy creating great guest experiences and making people feel welcome
