Role

 

We are currently looking for a Senior Event Sales Manager to join our management team in Events Sales. Our Senior Event Sales Manager is entrusted to assist the Assistant Director of Event Sales in negotiating, converting and growing our event business while acting as a brand ambassador to secure reputable and lucrative business for the hotel.


Key expectations of this role are

  • Lead, coach, and motivate the Event Sales team to achieve revenue, conversion, and service targets
  • Manage high-value corporate catering enquiries and VIP client relationships from enquiry through to conversion
  • Develop and execute strategies to maximise revenue during peak periods and key demand dates
  • Oversee accurate use of CRM and systems (Delphi, Opera, Salesforce) ensuring data integrity and timely follow-up
  • Drive forecasting, pricing strategy, negotiation, and contract management to maximise profitability
  • Collaborate closely with Operations, Catering, Revenue, Finance, and other departments for seamless event delivery
  • Ensure smooth handover from sales to operations while maintaining luxury service standards
  • Analyse sales performance, pipeline, and market trends to support continuous improvement
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the corporate catering and events market to fill the business needs 
  • Attend and lead BEO reviews, pre/post-cons, resume meetings, Operations meetings and other meetings as required


Profile

  • Proven experience in event sales, ideally within luxury hospitality
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills with a commercial mindset
  • Excellent negotiation and client relationship management abilities
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and system accuracy
  • A sound understanding of the London events market to retain and increase the competitive advantage through continuous proactive strategic planning
