Job Summary


Manage the relationship, saturation, and penetration of a portfolio of accounts based on the allocated geographical market. Ensure business is turned over properly and in a timely fashion for proper service delivery. Assist in leading all day-to-day activities related to sales with a focus on building long-term, value-based customer relationships that enable achievement of sales objectives. Serve as a Rosewood Doha ambassador to the customer, with system-wide responsibility.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Pro-actively hunt for new business from within the allocated geographical market as well developing and managing relationships with the existing account base.
  • To be extremely well versed on the facilities and benefits of Rosewood Residences as they apply to individual market segments.
  • To be fully conversant with all business units within the Residence and be comfortable in presenting the core unique selling propositions for each unit.
  • To understand the nature of the competitive market, to research and compile intelligence on selected markets and accounts to understand the buying behaviour of customers and the criteria for their


Residence selection.

  • To plan sales call activity to optimize revenue conversion based on key selling priorities determined and agreed with the Director of Sales.
  • To present weekly and monthly sales account reports to the Director of Sales and Marketing that accurately reflects sales account management and the performance of designated accounts.
  • To prepare presentations and reports for and attend key performance meetings i.e. Revenue meetings.
  • To capture timely and relevant customer data in appropriate Sales databases and to ensure data integrity is in accordance with Rosewood Doha data capture standards.
  • Execute and support the operational aspects of business booked (e.g., generating proposal, writing contract, customer correspondence).
  • Using Knowledge of Market Trends and Target Customer Information to Maximize Revenue Identifies new business to achieve personal and location revenue goals.
  • Understand the overall market - competitor’s strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, supply, and demand. Close the best opportunities for the location based on market conditions and location needs.
  • Reach and exceed room night and revenue targets.
  • Think creatively to develop and design new ideas, applications, relationships etc., to continue driving business.
  • Conduct continuous client entertainment, familiarisation trips and weekly client appointments.
  • Set a positive example for guest relations. Interact with guests to obtain feedback on product quality and service levels.
  • Contribute to the strategy and planning activities of the sales function.
  • Work closely with the Sales Team, focusing on lead conversion and key opportunities.
  • Provide regular input and update of the Rosewood Residence Sales and Marketing Plan accurately interpreting the objectives of the business and proactively targeting future need periods.
  • Communicate changes in market conditions to provide effective and timely solutions to minimise any detrimental effects to the business.
  • Develop SMART key account plans and strategies, detailing objectives, timescales, and sales methods to support the defined account opportunity.
  • Accurately identify the level of influence and decision-making power of contacts in the customer organisation and use these to secure business.
  • Contribute to relevant management meetings, to develop and implement local marketing initiatives.
  • Establish, enhance, and maintain productive quality working relationships with key internal and external customers.
  • Contribute ideas to improve the products and services offered.
  • To attend tradeshow, sales roadshows, sales training, in accordance with Rosewood Doha Sales and Marketing plan and based on the direction of the DOSM and DOS.
  • Generate and provide timely and accurate results in the form of reports, presentations etc.
  • Support the Rosewood Residence service philosophy and provide feedback and guidance on how to improve where necessary.

It is vital that all such information remains confidential and must not be disclosed to anyone outside the company, guests, and associates, unless otherwise stated.


Health & Safety

  • Be aware of and comply with safe working practices as laid down under the Health and Safety rules, regulations, and procedures as applicable to your place of work. This will include your awareness of any specific hazards at your workplace.
  • The wearing of appropriate protective clothing provided by or recommended by the Company will be obligatory.
  • Report any defects in the building, plant, or equipment according to hotel procedure.
  • Ensure that any accidents to staff, guests or visitors are reported immediately in accordance with correct procedures.
  • Attend Statutory Fire, Health & Safety training and be fully conversant with and abide by all rules concerning Fire, Health & Safety.
