Impact of this role
The Hotel Manager plays a pivotal leadership role in ensuring the seamless operation of K11 ARTUS. Reporting to the Managing Director of Rosewood Hong Kong, the Hotel Manager is responsible for driving service excellence, optimizing operational efficiency, and safeguarding the culture of the property. This role blends strategic oversight with personalized engagement and operational detail —delivering a sophisticated experience for guests and associates alike while also functioning as a business leader who drives profitability, engagement, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Guest Experience
  • Oversee all day-to-day hotel operations, ensuring exceptional service, safety, and compliance with quality standards.
  • Act as the primary point of leadership for K11 ARTUS.
  • Maintain the integrity of K11 ARTUS’s artisanal brand experience, overseeing guest services, residential programming, and lifestyle events.
  • Coordinate and drive performance improvement initiatives from guest feedback, audits, and brand programs.
  • Oversee and manage risk, emergency procedures, and safety protocols for guests and associates.
Leadership & Talent
  • Foster a high-performance culture through clear direction, empowerment, and professional development.
  • Coordinate, collaborate and follow through with the discipline leads of each division
  • Drive associate engagement and succession planning with support from the Talent & Culture team.
  • Lead and mentor department heads, cultivating a collaborative and motivated leadership team.
  • Support and collaborate with cross-functional areas such as marketing, communications, and revenue management.
Financial & Strategic Management
  • Participate in the development and execution of annual budgets, business plans, and capital projects.
  • Consistently look for ways to create synergies between Rosewood Hong Kong & K11 ARTUS
  • Monitor and manage P&L, cost containment, and energy conservation while enhancing profitability.
  • Stay ahead of market trends and industry innovations to drive competitive positioning and service evolution.
Community Engagement & Brand Stewardship
  • Represent K11 ARTUS and Rosewood Hong Kong in the local community and cultural landscape.
  • Actively build relationships with stakeholders, residents, and the creative community.
  • Serve as a brand ambassador, championing the brand’s vision and values in all engagements.

Critical Skills & Qualification
  • Fluency in English is required; Cantonese and/or Mandarin is required (at least one).
  • A minimum of 10 years of senior-level experience in hospitality management, ideally within luxury hotel or high-end residential settings. A bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred; an equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered.
  • Proven ability to lead operational excellence and deliver financial results.
  • Strong leadership, team-building, and mentorship skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and manage hybrid residential-hotel models.
