The Talent & Culture Manager assists Director of Talent & Culture in planning, organizing, and monitoring the activities, Organizational Development, Human Resource Administration, Associate Resourcing and Planning (Selection & Recruitment), People Management and Services (associate relations, industrial relations), Legal Reporting and related government liaison including Policies & Procedures (quality service standards), System and Administration for recruitment administration.

Essential duties and responsibilities

  • Responsible for operationalizing strategic objectives and the development of corresponding initiatives and programs; Performs a broad set of assignments and duties that align with the purpose, vision values and goals of the organization
  • Supports talent & culture management role and administration functions from induction of new hire’s through termination/cessation inclusive of counseling, guidance and policies compliance on associate relations industrial relations (disciplinary issues) including the conduction of domestic inquiry
  • Works to establish and maintain assigned processes ensuring they are streamlined, efficient, and compliant.  Identifies and acts upon ways to improve work processes, enhance quality, productivity, and service levels
  • Ensures personnel policies and procedures are administered and communicated in a manner that promotes consistent and equitable treatment of caregivers, recognition and support of human values in the workplace and harmonious working relationships between all caregivers
  • Monitors Talent & Culture programs in terms of meeting objectives and cost effectiveness and prepares periodic reports for leadership as necessary or as requested on the current status of Talent & Culture activity
  • Develops departmental plans and objectives in support of the overall strategic plan
  • Responsible for leadership, staff development, financial management, and strategic planning for areas supervised
  • Actively participates in and leads recruitment and talent development for the division/department, to meet both current and future needs

Qualifications

  • A recognized Degree in Human Resources Management or a related field or a recognized professional qualification in a relevant discipline. Previous experience in Human Resources Management with a minimum of 3 years or more in similar management capacity)

Experience

  • Sound knowledge acquired from past experience in multiple Human Resources Management such as manpower planning and recruitment, compensation and benefits, performance management, associate relations and associate welfare and facilities administration
  • Sound knowledge of domestic mandatory legislative and statutory requirements pertaining to Labour Law, Employment Act, Industrial Relations and keeping abreast of current labour market and good network with relevant authorities
  • Familiarity with Human Resources Information System (HRIS) databases
