Overview/Job Summary -
To act as the support function for the Marketing & Communications team (DOSM, DOC, Marketing Manager, Community Manager). Effectively communicate with both internal and external guests to ensure enquiries are handled professionally and efficiently. Handle marketing, communications, and public relations administrative tasks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities - (Key Activities)
• Act as the resort’s CMS Editor (create, edit, and publish content on the webpage)
• Act as one of the first points of contact for MarComm team covering telephone and email enquiries while also assist in the hosting of media and influencers.
• Managing digital file libraries (assets, photograph, videos) for internal and external use
• Work collaboratively with MarComm team to manage graphic design agency and ensure timely creation, editing, and approval of marketing collateral
• Assist with preplanning MarComm fam trips or site visits, including drafting & sending alerts, booking flights, reserving accommodations, advance shipping of materials, and more as needed
• Host Media and Influencers during their in resort stay
• Assist in development of month-end reporting materials and submit to Cluster Director of Communications
• Manage communications reporting in real time, tracking media placements, updating reports, and creating clips, among other administrative duties
• Support all MarComm managers with administrative tasks upon request with respect to marketing, community management, communications, and social media
• Participate in scheduled sales meetings, training and other sales strategy related meetings, as required
• Maintain knowledge of all Rosewood Hotels & Resorts to facilitate inquiries and direct requests accordingly
• Manage month end process, including invoicing (Birchstreet) and billing of department expenses
• Attend sales/marketing meetings and training sessions as required
• All other duties as required

Required Skills -
• Requires excellent communication skills, both verbal and written in both Spanish and English
• Knowledge of all departments of the resort and a collaborative disposition to work with all internal stakeholders
• Experience and desire to professionally represent the resort on site while hosting guests, clients, and members of the media.
• Ability to communicate customer needs and resolve complaints independently
• Must possess computer skills, including, but not limited to, accounting programs, Microsoft Word, Excel, Opera, and Salesforce
• Math skills, as well as budgetary analysis capabilities required

Others -
• Travel to one or more of the Rosewood Hotels/Resorts in Mexico may be required once or twice a year

Qualifications -
• Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of international degree in Hotel Management or Marketing and progressive work-related experience

Experience -
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a sales/marketing background – luxury hotel brands preferred

Rosewood Hotels & Resorts® has been appointed by RLH Properties, a company created by BK Partners, to manage Rosewood Mandarina which will open in 2025 as Rosewood’s fourth property in Mexico. Located on the west coast of Mexico just 30 minutes’ drive from the Puerto Vallarta International Airport, the resort will be situated in the breathtaking region of Riviera Nayarit. Rich with a culture that is as colorful as the exotic flora, the Nayarit region is renowned for its diverse landscape with lagoons, rivers, volcanoes, abundant vegetation, and almost 200 miles of beach along the Pacific Ocean. Rosewood Mandarina will offer 138 guest-rooms, suites and villas with panoramic views across the mountains, beach and ocean. Guests will be able to choose from three bars and restaurants including a speciality restaurant and sunset bar as well as more informal options, such as a pool grill and beach bar. The resort will offer three pools, fitness center and a spa with 10 treatment rooms in addition to event space which will include a 300square-foot ballroom. The beachfront property will draw inspiration from the local, pre-historic Huichole and Cora cultures, combining modern luxury and comfort with the riches of its extraordinary setting. With a focus on the element of “water,” the setting will provide visitors with exclusive access to three diverse environments: the beach, the lowlands and the highlands, each offering unique activities. From fishing in the winding lagoons or off the coast of the ocean, to learning about the agricultural foundation of the region, or taking one of many scenic hikes up the mountainside, the diverse landscape will provide a perfect backdrop for travelers to connect with nature.
